ERINN A. FITZPATRICK
LAWYER
DANA
LAW CLERK
Born in London, Ontario, while growing up in Norfolk County, Erinn attended high school at Assumption College School in Brantford, Ontario. She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and English Literature at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, with a special interest in development ethics.
Erinn completed her Baccalaureate of Law from the Faculty of Law at Queen's University in 2007. She volunteered extensively at a local women's shelter, Interval House, and taught literacy skills and math to inmates at Kingston Penitentiary.
A love of the North brought Erinn to North Bay in the summer of 2007, where she commenced her articles in family law. Since 2011, Erinn has represented children in high conflict custody cases and child protection cases through her appointment as an agent of the Office of the Children's Lawyer.
Erinn is the current President of the Nipissing Collaborative Lawyers' Association,
and is committed to supporting her family law clients through difficult separations.
While she has a busy litigation practice spanning both the Ontario Court of Justice
and the Superior Court of Justice, Erinn believes that in many cases, the collaborative family law process and other similar types of negotiation are effective alternatives
to the court process.
In addition to practicing law, Erinn currently sits as a Director on the Board of Directors of both the North Bay Literacy Council and the Lindsay Weld Centre for Children.
Erinn enjoys camping, hiking, and theatre, and has an especial interest in
sustainable agriculture.
